Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were large and easy to access all amenities. They were clean, albeit a bit dated, but still comfortable. The service was top-notch, with very kind and helpful staff. The location was fantastic, like a botanical garden, close to all the sites I wanted to see. The dining experience was alright, not bad but a bit crowded. Overall, a great value for money with lovely facilities.
The hotel was in a charming location with lovely garden and lagoon views where you can feed ducks, but the rooms were a bit small and had a moldy smell. The service was a mix of pleasant and unprofessional encounters. The dining experience was lacking in healthier options and variety, with only basic offerings available. The location was far from main attractions, but there were comfortable beds for a visit to UCSB.
The hotel felt like a charming den with a brick wall from the 1970s, but the park and pool were not ready at check-in time. The service was extremely accommodating, but Bleaching a Toilet was required due to a lingering smell. The location is like a botanical garden, but isolated with few nearby attractions. The dining experience was fantastic with one of the best hotel breakfasts, yet the room was not sufficient for all guests. The price and value for money were reasonable overall.
Upon expressing dissatisfaction with the initial room, I was moved to a deluxe room that unfortunately overlooked a parking lot filled with work trucks. The hotel has a good-sized pond and the suite room was of decent quality.
